It’s a rainy Saturday here in Greensburg. While that doesn’t hold well for our moods, it definitely means more customers. The store has been busy non-stop since we opened! Randy and John are manning the front, while Steph works on listing more inventory on our eBay shop.
In other news, Brady’s has decided to have a summer flea market! We’re working on advertising on our various pages, but you’ll see it here first: on Sunday, July 10, we will host our second annual Outdoor Flea Market – otherwise to be known as Christmas in July! We are blowing out old stock – primarily things that were on our old e-Commerce page, any old eBay items, and just generally any old store inventory that’s taking up shelf space. The bulk of the items are going to be single cars – RailKing, Lionel, and a handful of older passenger cars as well. If you’re in the market for any yearly Christmas, New Years, or Holiday cars in general, you better be here!
Sale will primarily accept cash on the spot, but we can run cards if necessary. The store will remain closed throughout the day, so we can just focus on the sales. There will be amazing discounts, deals, and bargains all day! It’s set to run from 10 a.m. EST to 4 p.m. EST, so if you’re in P.A. that day, make sure to stop over!
Today marked the beginning of listing our locomotive inventories online – you can now read through tables and spreadsheets directly on the website! This will allow you, our faithful customers, to see what we have in store! You won’t be able to click “buy it now” directly on our page, but we do offer our prices as well, so you can compare and shop around, and if you pick us to buy from, you can drop us a line or e-mail. Eventually, we hope to get most of our store live, just so our friends who don’t have plans to travel to western PA anytime soon can see what we’re selling. John may take some of these items to train shows as well, so if you’d prefer to see an item at a show John can always grab it.
These lists will be updated daily, so make sure to keep checking in. We had a bit of an Internet fall today, so we got online later than we hoped to. But everything is back up and running. Steph and Lauren have been listing tons of new product on our eBay page since we got online again, so make sure you stop over there and check that out as well!
We are currently working on listing our inventory online – mainly so you can see what we have in the physical store, and what is available for purchase. These items will not be for sale online directly, but can be purchased via phone or e-mail. We’ll start small with engines, then work our way up to having most of our stock visible on this website.
If you want to buy trains in the mean time, you can visit our eBay page! We have a totally different inventory on that shop than we have in our store – check out our eBay page to see what we have!
