Customizing train layouts

Posted by John Brady on

Model train layouts come in all shapes and sizes, as they are usually built for the space available.

Our customer Dean DellaPiazza shared this video of his O scale ceiling layout, where he is running trains purchased from Brady's Train Outlet.

We have two layouts set up in our store, which we built using items sold at Brady's Trains. Stop by to check them out!

Are you interested in starting a layout?

Many model railroaders start off by designing a track, which can be done with computer software. Stop by the store and we can help with this!

Once the track is laid, some hobbyists turn to sources such as the Model Railroader magazine (https://www.trains.com/mrr/how-to/model-train-layouts/) for ideas about how to add details and scenery.

Woodland Scenics is a favorite of hobbyists looking for scenery, buildings, figures, and more. You can shop this line of products on our website (https://bradystrains.com/search?q=woodland+scenics) or in the store.

Share your layout with us via Facebook messenger or email (bradystrains@gmail.com) with a brief description, and we might feature it on the blog!

Customers who share pictures of their layouts with us will be entered for a chance to win a special prize.
