The Chicago and North Western (C&NW) Railway, also known as the North Western, was a Class I railroad in the Midwestern United States.

The C&NW railway was one of the longest railroads in the U.S., due to mergers with other railroads including Minneapolis and St. Louis and the Chicago Great Western Railway. The C&NW railway was purchased by Union Pacific in 1995.
