Many of our customers tell us that they have been in the hobby for years, and spend a lot of time building and refining their train layout. This is the case for Don as well, who said "I’ve had Lionel Trains since I was a child over 65 years ago. Over twenty years ago I started my existing layout. One of the best things about model railroading is that your layout is never done. You can always build on it and expand by adding new accessories or even additional track-- such as an elevated loop!
Zoomed in, this layout looks almost like a photograph of a real place. Adding lots of scenery and details always helps to increase realism. Woodland Scenics has an extensive line of scenery products for those looking to add detail to their layouts.
