The Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR ) CP , CPAA , MILW , SOO ), known as CP Rail between 1968 and 1996 and simply Canadian Pacific , is a historic Railway which was incorporated in 1881.
This great railway was initially built between eastern Canada and British Columbia from 1881 to 1885. This was the first transcontinental railway for Canada.
In time it grew and the company was able to acquire two American lines in 2009 which were the Dakota, Minnesota nd Eastern Railroad along with the Iowa, Chicago and Eastern Railroad.
