The Lionel Pennsylvania LEGACY C Liner and SuperBass C Liner models are exquisite representations of the Fairbanks Morse Consolidation line, which initially showed great promise and secured multiple orders from several railroads. These 4-axle locomotives, while primarily designed for freight service, also found roles in passenger service, showcasing their versatility.
Both models feature standout details such as the Mars lights on the Milwaukee Road units and the Pennsylvania trainphone radio antenna. For the first time, these models come with 4-digit addressing and SuperBass B units, allowing for a classic A-B-A configuration or the flexibility to mix and match with other locomotives. The A units are equipped with front ElectroCouplers and non-operating rear couplers for better close-coupling, while the B units include a non-operating front and rear ElectroCoupler.
