Great looking boxcar, box has a tear on flap
Lionel now offers the freight car that launched an entire series and set the benchmark for standardized rolling stock, the Pullman-Standard PS-1 Boxcar. Over 100,000 had entered service by 1962 for 78 railroads and other private carriers. Our O gauge, scale-sized version of this rolling stock classic features many separately applied and durable details, such as etched metal catwalks. The all-new die-cast metal sprung trucks and realistic operating couplers allow for magnetic operation without the hanging "thumbtack" to interfere with the prototypical look of the car. The Lionel PS-1 Boxcars come outfitted in four popular road names.
