This oyster house becomes one more addition to our growing nautical theme in Dickens' Village. It is certain that if Dickens found himself in the Village, a trip to this oyster bar would surely have been one of his daily haunts. Dickens was a big fan of oysters. In A Christmas Carol, the Spirit of Christmas Present is surrounded by all the good things in life, including barrels of oysters.
